A state of balance in the body is called homeostasis and is a key component of wellness. When the body falls out of balance it becomes susceptible to sickness, which can result into serious health challenges which increase exponentially.

Wellness, Fitness & Nutrition
Wellness, fitness and nutrition work synergistically together. The challenge with many wellness or fitness programs is the separation of each entity, thus strengthening one area while leaving another underdeveloped or weak, creating an imbalance in the body and making homeostasis challenging to obtain. 
Combining the three components and adding the psychology and spiritual aspect of obtaining optimal wellness is a holistic approach that influences the whole part of person. If your goal is to lose body fat, become strong and lean, or build a stronger immune system, and you focus only on one aspect and neglect the others, you may be moving your body into a compromised state and counteracting exactly what you are working to obtain.
